New casual chicken restaurant PDQ opened their Wesley Chapel location on Sunday, and served approximately 2,000 people on opening day. Our editor was able to visit the restaurant on Tuesday and found the restaurant very busy and the food to be excellent.
PDQ, which opened its initial Bay area location in South Tampa in October, is scheduled to open in Carrollwood in August and St. Petersburg in September. Other locations in Raleigh and Charlotte, N.C., are expected later in the year. PDQ opened its first location in Cornelius, North Carolina, in 2009, under the name Tenders, and is renowned for its fresh chicken tenders, made to order sandwiches, fresh daily cut fries and hand-spun milkshakes.
