New Tampa Ladies and Moms Clubs
Whether you are new to New Tampa or have lived here for a while, having a fun time with a group of like minded women is a great way to connect, socialize and serve your community. Offering an array of New Tampa Ladies and Moms Clubs that caters to women of any age group and at any stage of their lives.
Here are 6 New Tampa Women Clubs we would like to highlight:
This is a non-profit organization, open to women to serve the community, meet great friends and having a great time. It runs from August to May each year and they meet at the New Tampa YMCA (16221 Compton Dr, Tampa 33647). April Simons is the current President of the club.
The club also runs a young girls’ division called Juniorettes for girls ages 12-18. The girls get together once a month on the third Monday at New Tampa YMCA to encourage each other and to volunteer their time serving the community. This year, they were involved in Miles for Moffitt and Bark in the Park other than their weekly and monthly services. Girls in middle and high school have the opportunity to earn National Honor Society credits with this club.
If you are a stay at home mom of younger children (elementary school and below), this will be an organization that you can reach out to for children’s playmates and activities. This club also gives support to members who have just given birth by preparing and delivering meals, give support when there are illnesses or hardship.
Mom’s Club also teaches children at a young age to serve their community and learn to give those who are in need. The club is open to all moms living in the 33647 zip codes in New Tampa. Other than helping each other, the club maintains a fun night out once a month called the Mom’s Night Out.
This is a great club for women who are running their own business or working for a corporation. Here you will get support in your business, professional and personal endeavors. The club meets once a month at Hunter’s Green Country Club at 18101 Longwater Run Dr. at 6 pm every second Thursday of the month.
Other than giving support, the club gives you an opportunity to build relationships, opportunity to win scholarships and contributing to the community. Membership is open from May to May each year. It cost $75 for individuals and $100 for corporate membership..
This is one of the oldest clubs in New Tampa and they are very active in the Tampa Palms community. The club is non-profit and provides educational programs, fund raising programs, social functions, friendships and they are the organizers of Arts and Crafts under the Palms yearly event in October.
The club meets regularly for fun at Compton Park, Tampa Palms 16101 Compton Dr. with speakers, How Tos workshops and the ladies share meals together.
New Tampa Christian Women’s Club
This group is not affiliated with any church or denominations. It is a group that organizes monthly brunch, luncheon or dinner events at a country club or popular restaurant for socializing, having food and learning. There is no membership fee. It is open to women of all age groups and religions. The group meets for 60-90 minutes.
Ladies Foodie Club (The Honeycomb Club)
A brand new club in New Tampa for women who enjoy socializing with food and drinks, trying out new restaurants and recipes, watching Food Network and reading all about food and drinks.
Take time out of your busy schedule and contact one or two of them and make connections with the ladies in your neighborhood.
